Probably small jungle streams in the Rio Nanay drainage, Loreto district, Peru
My Experience
Surprisingly little aggression within a group of fish in a 160 liters tank (with a lot of structures, plants and wood)
Breeding
Polygamous, but do well in pairs too.
Breeds easy as long as the water is soft and quite acid.
